How did we keep our little secret?

Obviously by the time this post is up, it is no longer a secret anymore because my bump would be super duper obvious. But apparently still not obvious enough when I take the public transport because some people are still too blind and selfish to give me their seat.

So how did we keep our little secret for almost 4 months?

Having found out that we are having a little human before Chinese New Year, we were concern about family meal times and friend gatherings. Because knowing how much I enjoy my alcoholic beverages and spicy food, along with the compulsory "lou sang" before every meal. Would people get suspicious when I don't eat the yee sang or decline a lovely glass of ice cold beer?

Well, no one noticed or suspected, but only gave me very confused looks went I declined having those delicious white wine that was on free flow during the company's annual dinner.

Fortunately I did not suffer any morning sickness that involves vomiting, but I did however loose my appetite for more than 3 months. I had to force myself to eat every meal, in fear that I might not have enough nutrient. Plus I didn't gain any extra weight until the 4th month which was the time the hubby was about to explode from keeping our little secret for so long.

But now that the secret is out, he can breathe easy now, and start his shopping spree for all things cute! Can't wait to meet our little human :)

What on earth has been happening?

Lack of motivation? Not bothered? Or just plain lazy .....

Nearly 9 months since I last updated my blog! Should I just shut it down since it is only a personal blog? I have yet to decide.

So what on earth has been happening in this silly girl's life, especially since after getting hitched and moving in with the hubby and his family.

October 2014

We finally decided on our honeymoon destination - BORACAY!! WOOHOOO!! It was an awesome vacation and I would to return there again in the near future. We did make a tiny little mistake planning our trip, our stay was too short because we didn't know it would take us a full day to get to the island. Almost 12 hours of travelling!

November 2014

The hubby convinced me to sign up for the Maze Challenge, a way to keep us active and participating on a fun event together. It was not bad, I actually wished there were more obstacles, but then it was a time based challenge.

December 2014

Joined the Run For Your Lives 2014 with the hubby and some friends. Boy oh boy why did I agree to join him on marathons when I don't enjoy long distance running............it was definitely fun getting chased by zombies and going through obstacles. But it was oh so tiring and HOT!!! Our slot was fairly early but some of the roads were closed due to MRT constructions, so we only made it to the race site at almost noon.

January - June 2015

Could say that 2015 started out pretty quiet and slow, yet maybe not so much, because we did have big news which we struggled to keep hidden for almost 4 months! We are going to have a little human, and yes it was planned. We just didn't know that it would happen almost immediately though, so here's to another new milestone in life.
