Happy Ever After Up In The Sky

It has finally happened! Just 3 weeks ago Kel Li and Nigel have finally tied the knot! After months of first anticipating Kel Li's Hen Night which was great, and now The Day has arrived!

The plan was for the bridal party to arrive at about 10.30am to start on the deco, but I was late, no idea what caused the ridiculous jam going through Pudu on that day, but I made in almost in time to help out. The whole Sky Lounge was filled with Tiffany Blue flower pom poms and laughter, as I hop right in to find out what needed an extra pair of hands. But when Kel Li asked if I could climb up the ladder, I froze. Being a little unsteady on high places, am really thankful that Nora came to save the day!

Once the deco was all set up, and rehearsals, it was time for the bride to get ready. A bunch of us scattered off to KLCC to hang out a bit to pass the time before getting ready for the wedding ceremony.

The wedding ceremony begun right on time, which is really rare with Malaysian timing. As the beautiful bride walked down the aisle with her proud father, I couldn't help but wear a silly grin on my face. Everything was so beautiful and intimate, truly holding strong to the symbolizing the holy matrimony of two individuals in love coming together as one united heart.

Out of the many relative and friend weddings I have attended, I have to say that this is my favourite of all. It was not over grant, but sophisticated enough and filled with heart warming speeches form loved ones. It was truly a night to remember for the happy couple and the guests. Also Maya Hotel has the best buffet! Everything was delicious! Kind of makes me crave for more lamb and sashimi.
