Still Can't Get Enough.

I've got to admit, ever since the lyric video was out and now the OFFICIAL VIDEO, I just can't get enough of how sweet and fun this song is! The official video is so colourful and cheerful, makes me want to dance around every time I hear the song play. I simply can't take my eyes away from the screen too! Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor looked like they were having so much fun filming the video.

I think it's really cool that they didn't create like a storyline or have their instruments in this video, instead they wanted to kind of portray how it feels like falling in love, like dancing around in a room filled with balloons, running around the backyard with sparkles, etc.

Paramore is back, yes I will say it again! Oh joy! Less than 23 days left till "Paramore" is released! Excited and impatient!

After hearing Paramore perform their latest Single from their self-titled 4th album, I couldn't wipe the silly smile off my face. Cheesy as it may seem, it was like this pop rock love song was just perfect for the Ninja Fiance and I!!

The first verse goes, "Can't count the years on one hand that we've been together", we have been together for 6 years starting 2013. "I need to other one to hold you, make you feel, make you feel better", he always makes me feel better by just holding my hand. "I should be over all the butterflies, I'm into you." we are totally not over butterflies, because turns out we both have been keeping this secret from each other, we both like butterflies...hahaha!

To me personally, Paramore is and always be one of the bands I love and will support since the very first time I heard of them, even with all the drama that they have been through. "Still Into You" is such a happy feel good pop rock love song that I can listen to ALL DAY~!!

The very first time I heard "Now" was after I downloaded it when it was released on iTunes, and boy did I love it. It felt so powerful, with the upbeat drum beats and the power of Hayley's voice. But I got to admit that when I first watched the official music video I couldn't get used to Hayley's new look but loving the color of her hair as always. 

The video starts in a battle field with everyone attacking each other, Jeremy and Taylor trying to keep Hayley safe, color bombs going off all of a sudden, it was total rainbow chaos! I was somehow totally pulled in by the video aside from the chaos and I got to say I DID NOT ANTICIPATED THE ENDING! I thought that there was going to be like an epic orange powder color bomb blowing off at the bad guy or something. But instead Hayley just launched herself at him with the biggest hug I have ever seen, and it actually made me cry! 

Truly, the best make love not war, everyone just needs a hug video I have ever seen. Paramore you have done it again! 

Everyday Is A Paramore Day

Just as I have mentioned is the previous post, here are the videos that I took with my iphone 4s. The quality is not that great, but I had to capture some of the memories, I could have taken more photos and videos but I was too preoccupied and too focused on having a great time.

I did not record the whole song by MeWithoutYou because I was concern that I may not have enough battery to last through Paramore later on. I'm not familiar with the band MeWithoutYou, so I don't know any of their song titles, but they are really good!

It still feels like it was just yesterday, the memories with Paramore are still so fresh! I have to keep reminding myself that it was not a dream, but a dream come true, all the thanks goes to God and PFC for making it possible!

The Return of Paramore 17th Feb 2013

Paramore has returned to perform in KL! Organized by Livescape and TuneTalk. Definitely not a band to be missed! Initially I was sort of undecided on whether I should go for the concert since I've been to 2 Paramore concert in Singapore back in March 2010, and then when they came to KL in October 2010. And since I'm getting married this year, I didn't want to splurge too much on concerts.

My sis, Jenn, being the huge Paramore fan she is, bought her ticket almost immediately and was planning to go on her own which got me worried. Then she offered to pay half for my ticket cause she knows that I'm trying to be careful with my spendings this year. So we are all set and waiting for the awesome day to arrive!

On 10th February 2013, I received an email that caused to immediately to jump up from my seat in shock! I got an invitation from Paramore Fan Club(PFC) for an opportunity to a meet and greet with Paramore! No frigging way! I thought I was dreaming, I immediately took a screenshot before reading the whole email.

Finally the glamorous and talented Adam Lambert is visiting our shores! And I am so glad I decided just days before the concert to go. At first I could not decide if i should go as I couldn't find any companions to go with. But eventually found out some friends who live nearby that are going so I desperately search around for people selling Rockzone tickets. Score!

Concert day, rushed to Bukit Jalil straight after work to meet up with Yat and Kel Li. 7pm and I was walking around checking out Glambert Fans all glam up and snapping photos. 8pm Yat finally arrived and I got to meet his lovely Daphne for the first time and it's into the concert hall! Got to meet a whole lot more of Yat's friends Joshua, Nigel, Jen, David, Ceddy,and Jason - and finally after tweeting and msn-ing with Kel Li, we finally met face to face!

The show kicked off with our local acts, Iqwal singing 'Down' by Jay Sean, also Danell Lee and Dennis Lau performing 'It's My Life' by Bon Jovi. Not long after was the highlight of the lovely evening. Adam Lambert takes the stage, enchanting us with his perfect voice, entertaining us with his talented crew of musicians and dancers...I wish i could find more of Tommy Joe Ratcliff's picture from that night. In case you are wondering who is Tommy? He's the handsome young man Adam kisses on stage when performing but they are not allowed to do in here in Malaysia =/

If I had not decided to go for this awesome concert that night, I would be kicking myself in the head with regret. It was an awesome night filled with entertainment and beautiful vocals. I had his voice ringing in my head for almost 2 days!

PARAMORE IS IN TOWN!! OMFG THE LONG AWAITED DAY IS HERE!!! This is round 2 of PARA-AWESOMENESS for me in 2010. Jenn and I arrived at approximately 12pm to queue. Yes we went early! We want to get a good view! After the long hours of rain and shine the gates finally opened. We got a good spot and an awesome view but after we later on went to the back where there was more space to rock out and head bang. I'll spare the details on why we went to the back.

People let me tell you this, especially Paramore fans that did not go to the concert, you made a huge mistake! Paramore never fails to put on a great performance and blow the crowd away with energy from the one and only dynamite Hayley Williams, which could not have done so without the help of her loving family Josh, Zac, Jeremy and Taylor!

Hayley loved the energy from the crowd, she even comment on stage "America should see this, this is sick!" Hayley also promised that they will never wait 6 years to come to Malaysia ever again. YAY! We didn't get much pictures of the concert, doing what we did also at Paramore's Singapore concert, we were just too darn busy enjoying ourselves.

Head banging, screaming, jumping, dancing, more head banging! All the muscle aches and still neck the next morning was TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Malaysia's 1st Craft Brews Beer Festival
Thanks a bunch with lotsa love to Kel Li and Jen that Ryan and myself got to attend this festival for some beer tasting and great company. Yes, beer tasting. And I can say that Flying Dog Beer is really nice! I personally like the 'Dogy-style' (yes I know it sounds naughty) and 'Golden Ale' also not forgetting the 'Monster Green Lager.
 Beer tasting which is what we learned there with their freshly brewed, unfiltered beers which is much more foamy looking compared to our standard Heineiken and Carlsberg. First we hold up our beers to the light to view the color, then we swirl the beer, take a nice whiff of the fragrant, take a big sip and let it sit on our tongue for 3 seconds and then gulp it...yumm! i mean...CHEERS~!!
The 'Dogy-Style' has a sweet laici scent and fruity flavor which is simply lovely! 'Golden Ale' on the other hand is really smooth and refreshing, suitable for a hot day. And last but not least the 'Monster Green Lager', which the beer is green in color, but it's very refreshing and sweet tasting. Plus many more others that I tried which I can't recall the names and taste. But these 3 are what stands out to me the most.

Paramore live in Singapore.

7th March 2010
Jenn and I waiting to board our flight to Singapore. Why are going to Singapore on such short notice? Simple, we are going to watch Paramore live!!! w00t~! Super stoked!!
Touch down in Singapore! My cousin Ray picked us up and took us to Marche for lunch. The Marche in Singapore is slightly different from the one at The Curve, they use electronic swipe cards instead of stamp coupons, and the servings are HUGE! Look at what we had! And behold the almighty Shroomzilla that was so yummy and juicy but crunchy on the outside. After lunch we bump around Ray's place trying to decide what time to head to the venue, everyone we knew was like "Go NOW~!!" So we got ready and headed to the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The queue was sooooo long even at around 4pm. We manage to grab some Paramore t-shirts! >,<\m/ HAPPY!! Just as we were about to join back the queue, Jenn spotted Justin York and Brandon hanging around in the crowd! Justin is Taylor York's brother who is filling in for Josh Farro because he's on a break to plan his wedding, Brandon is part of Paramore's crew, he directed "The Only Exception" video. Awesome work! Love it so much!
Finally we are inside, super crowded but we manage to secure a nice spot. Monocrome was the opening act, they were ... ok.
Paramore finally took the stage! The crowd went wild! The concert was awesome! We had such a blast and was so busy enjoying ourselves and headbanging that we didn't really snap much photos....sorry for disappointing.

Just when Hayley performed "The Only Exception" it was so beautiful! She let the crowd sing the chorus. This concert was definitely THE concert for us this year. Best experience ever. Hope Paramore would come to Malaysia on their next tour.
